The Good Lord's Work

Some of the good Lord's work is found in The Epistle of Jeremiah:

1.  God repay for good and evil deeds.
2.  The Lord has the power to raise up a king and to remove one.
3.  He gives money and wealth.
4.  The good Lord seeks payment from those who make a vow to Him.
5.  The Lord delivers men from death.
6.  He rescues the weak from the strong.
7.  The good Lord restores the sight of a blind man.
8.  He rescues people in distress and delivers anyone in trouble.
9.  He shows mercy to widows and does good to the orphan.
10.  The good Lord does not put those who serve Him to shame.
11.  God saves from wars and calamities.
12.  The Lord raises up a king for a country.
13.  He gives mankind rain.
14.  God decides a case and helps one who is wronged.
15.  He offers resistance against a king or in a war.
16.  He saves people and properties from thieves and robbers.
17.  The sun, moon, and stars shine brightly and are sent for useful purpose as they obey God.
18.  God commands "the clouds to travel across the whole earth", and He sends fire fro above to consume mountains and forests.
19.  God sends signs from heaven to the gentiles.
