Reading the Bible

I attempt to read the Bible daily. I have failed many days, weeks, months, but then I came back to reading the Holy Book. I am an ordinary Christian with not much knowledge in Christianity except what I have learned from my church over many years of my life. I can summarize my faith in a few words: Christ is my Lord and Savior. Christ suffered on the cross, died, and rose again from the dead. He will come again to judge all of us of what we've done, good or bad. Christ is my Lord, I shall not want. I hope He is yours too.

Prophets vs. Sorcerers

How do you differentiate between a sorcerer and a prophet? As a starter, sorcerer speak on their own behalf, even when they claim they are speaking by an order of God. Sorcerers' predictions are seldom fulfilled, except for those that meet statistical occurrences (in statistics, an event that has a probability to occur 5% or less is said to be a miracle). Sorcerers will charge you money (even on social media) for their predictions, and these are often vague and general in nature. Sorcerers use common daily knowledge to make vague predictions about future events like earthquakes, fires, snow, and tornadoes. Prophets speak about specific events that will happen in the future on behalf of the good Lord. And, their predictions are always fulfilled, unlike those of the sorcerers that they are only fulfilled within the statistical limits (5% or less). The new day prophets must declare their messages on behalf of the risen Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, otherwise they are sorcerers. Always test the spirit because satanic messages may try to sneak in to deliver you a message contrary to what the Bible teaches. Be on your guards and never disseminate any message unless you are sure it is from God (remember Job and how the devil tried to destroy him). The Catholic Church also recognizes 'seers' who receive messages from God for a specific topic to deliver to people. Always test their messages, according to the principles found in the Bible. We need to discern between a charlatan and a true 'seer.' Unfortunately, with the spread of social media, some individuals try to proclaim future events without proper spiritual authority. They are doing the work of Satan.

Christmas Eve 2018

The reason the good Lord has sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, on Christmas because He loves us. The sign of Christmas is our salvation. So, what is love?

"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

Love suffers long and is kind;
love does not envy;
love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
does not rejoice in inequity, but rejoices in the truth;
bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails.

Let Us Give Thanks to God

Never forget to thank the Lord of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob on all the good things He gives you. Do not be like the nine lepers who never came back and thanked the Lord Jesus after He healed them from their illness. Only one came back thanking Jesus for his healing. Don't follow the 90% who never came back. Be one of the 10%.

Recently, and just the last week, I was down with a serious illness. The good Lord with His mercy gave me another chance. Thank You Lord.

God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob

The Holy Bible teaches us and prepares us to know our God. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is our Heavenly Father. He is patient, very merciful, and tenderhearted. The Bible teaches us that our Lord repent toward the evils we commit against Him. "There is no wrongdoing with the Lord our God, no partiality nor taking of bribes." 2 Chronicles 19:7

The Holy Bible is guided by the Holy Spirit. It is a guide to Heaven. The Holy Bible is man's salvation from the devil. All the books in the Bible point toward Jesus Christ. There is nothing there written that does not belong to Him, our Lord Jesus Christ.

A Sad Sad Day

I lost one of my coworkers today. I worked with him at the same company for 28 years, since 1989. BG was a gentle and humerus man. He was a pharmacologist, a neuro-pharmacologist. BG was a Christian man who accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord. I will miss my good friend BG, but I know he is today in the Lord Kingdom.

Have you been offered something you could not refused?

Jesus Christ came from the lineage of king David. As a king of the old age, your power came in part from the number of people you ruled over. But, the Lord God had forbid the kings of Israel to number their people because the kings' power came from the Lord directly. Even king David failed to follow God's commends. The Bible says that David followed Satan's suggestions: "Now Satan stood up against Israel, and moved David to number Israel." 1 Chronicles 21:1

So Satan "moved David" to sin against the Lord and David acted according to Satan's wishes. Because of David's sin 70,000 men of Israel died. Kings' sin can destroy nations.

A Christmas Story

We all know by now that Jesus was born in the line of King David. But where did it all start? Here is the genealogy of Jesus up to King David as recorded in the Book of Ruth 4:18.

"Now this is the genealogy of Perez: Perez begot Hezron; Hezron begot Ram, and Ram begot Amminadab; Amminadab begot Nahshon, and Nahshon begot Salmon; Salmon begot Boaz, and Boaz begot Obed; Obed begot Jesse, and Jesse begot David."

And, where did Perez come from? This is recorded in the Book of Genesis. Perez had Tamar as his mother and Judah as his dad. Actually, Tamar was Judah's daughter-in-law that after her husband (Judah's son Er, Judah's first born) passed away she tricked Judah to have an intercourse with her and she became pregnant with a twin boys, Perez and Zerah. The story of their birth is recorded in Genesis 38:27-30. (During birth, Zerah put out his hand first but he drew it back and Perez pushed himself through. So we don't know who the "first born" was between the two. Does a hand justify the label "first-born"?) Interesting!

My Belief

What is my belief? I was born into the Catholic faith. I believe that Jesus Christ is my Lord and my Savior. I am a sinner that, if it were for me alone, I would never reach heaven. But by the grace of God and the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead I am now able to enter into my Father's House. There have been evil forces in this world that have tried to distort this image. As you probably have noticed, I have documented their books in my blogs. These people have been trying to provide an alternate explanation to the real truth. Paul, Peter, and the other disciples have seen the Truth and gave their own lives for the Truth. Despite what this movement is all about, we the Catholics declare that these people are missionaries of the devil. The devil uses them to get back to Christ because the Lord have won. In the army I've learned that in order to combat your enemy you have first to know your enemy very well. These people have, since the Lord was born, attempted to destroy Christ, but they lost. They lost big time because He has said that His Church is built on a rock and all the power of hell would not be able to overcome it. The Catholic faith have destroyed these evil people despite their organization. They have built monuments, "churches", and symbols. Yes, these symbols belong to the devil, their master. As for us Christians we have only one Master. He is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Do not get deceived by their sweet and "logical" stories. Do not let that snake, the devil, to deceive you as he did to Adam and Eve. I have read the end of the "Book". Christ wins. Amen.

When Jesus healed 10 lepers, only one came back and thanked him. Jesus asked the man "where were the others." God likes our thanks because he loves us. Children who love their dad thank him. Thank you Father for all your gifts you have showered us with during 2014. We love you Father. Amen.

Chi-Rho...In Hoc Signo Vinces

The Lord appeared to Emperor Constantine in a dream and told him to place "Chi-Rho" symbol on the shields of his soldiers. "Chi-Rho" are the first two letters of Christ in Greek. Christ told Constantine by doing so he would win in battle "In Hoc Signo Vinces...You will conquer in this sign". Constantine obeyed and won the Battle at the Milvian Bridge. Constantine was convinced that the Lord was true and converted to Christianity. With his conversion his entire kingdom became a Christian nation. Europe and the Western World has been protected from its enemies by Christ since then and for ever. "In Hoc Signo Vinces" for ever and ever...Amen.

Wisdom

"Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust."

 Jesus is The Way to Heaven. These are 5 easy steps that will lead you to your Heavenly Father through our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.

Hell

The Lord Jesus did not speak much about Hell as much he spoke about Heaven. His mission was not to send people there, but rather to save them from it. He spoke about Hell as a place which is isolated from Heaven. A place where communication with Heaven is not possible. It is a place where it was built for the fallen angels later known as the Devils. He described it as a place of suffering, being away from God. Jesus' message was all about Heaven. He wanted us to go there as He first went before us to prepare our castles. The letter of Saint Paul and the writings in the Bible does not, surprisingly, speak specifically about Heaven and Hell, given their importance to human salvation. If man would enter Heaven only because of his good deeds, Heaven would have been devoid of humans. We enter Heaven because of the salvation we got through the sacrifices of our Lord Jesus. He alone is the key to Heaven, lest anyone boast.

The Four Horsemen

I believe the Lamb has already broke the First Seal. The White Horse and its Rider are out. I was given a vision to see the White Horse (see BMP post 'I Saw a White Horse'). The Rider carries a bow and was given a crown. He is on a mission to win souls back to Christ. He's been victorious in that and shall continue doing so for a while. I also believe that the Lamb has already broken the Second Seal. A Fiery Red Horse is out. Its Rider holds a 'big sword'. He shall destroy peace on earth. The Arab Spring, violent demonstrations in Israel, Greece, Spain, and England are just a few examples of peace being destroyed. "Flash Mobs" in the USA are examples of this Rider's mission to destroy peace. When the Third Seal will be opened by the Lamb, food supply will be scarced. It will cost you a lot of money to purchase foods. "A quart of wheat will cost you a whole day's wages...But don't ruin the olive oil or the wine." Despite the shortage in foods, resources shall remain intake and not destroyed. Don't buy gold, invest in foods. Bill Gates has already stored seeds in places in Europe anticipating the Third Horseman arrival. There are companies in the United States where they are selling dried-frozen foods for a time like that. They are selling "Food Insurance". The Third Seal opening will get a Black Horse and its rider to emerge. Its Rider shall carry a balance scale. "Three quarts of barley will cost you a day's wages too." The Fourth Horseman will appear when the Lamb shall break the Fourth Seal. A Pale Green Horse commended by a Rider named Death.  "...one fourth of the earth will be under their control, and they 'could' kill people with "swords, famines, diseases, and wild animals." (Revelation 8:6-12; CEV)

As always, I need to qualify my statements above by declaring that I am not a preacher nor I have credentials in any religious office or degrees. I am no prophet either, and I doubt that the good Lord has given me the image of the white horse in my dream. While I did see a white horse in my dream, this could be totally unrelated and does not conform to what the good Lord has plan for human. What you read above is just my explanation and should not be taken as truth. For that talk to you preacher, your deacon, your priest, or your religious leader concerning salvation. I believe that we all were saved by the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross if we believe in him. The Lord DID NOT SPEAK TO ME nor ASKED ME TO TELL THE WORLD THE ABOVE MESSAGE. I AM NO PROPHET OF THE LORD.

Christ the Conqueror

Despite all the bad news you probably are hearing coming from different countries, including ours, I am still very optimistic about the future of human kind. I have read the end of the book that tells it all, about all the suffering human beings will go through. At the very end, the Book of Revelation states that Jesus Christ shall be the victor. So, don't let your heart be troubled. Believe into the Lord because He will conquer at the end. Amen.
