In the Catholic Church, people go to confession. As a rule, you confess your sins and not others'. If you and your friend had a fight, during confession you tell the priest the part that you contributed to the fight. There are always two sides at fault in any fight. Do not act blameless, otherwise do not bother to confess your sins.
The answer is the two often correlate, but are not necessarily always. Even kings and queens get sick. Health is a funny thing to determine. Never compare yourself to others when it comes to being healthy. Rather, compare yourself today with you of yesterday. Most people compare themselves to others and they fail miserably.
Are vegetarians more healthy than carnivores? Some data suggest that. The only problem is how you define health. If the definition of being healthy is elusive, then how can you state one person is healthier than another.
If you try to ask yourself "am I healthy?" the answer is probably, "I do not know." Health is elusive. For a simple reason, no one can define it. It is a multi-faceted dimensionless, complex, entity. Being healthy is a state of mind, but is it really?
These are some of the definitions of being healthy:
1. absence of disease
2. feeling good about oneself
3. not having complaints
4. no pain
5. not taking any medicine
6. eating healthy
7. not needing doctors
8. fresh air
9. sunshine
10. pure water
11. being a vegetarian
12. emotionally stable
13. All of the above
14. Wellness
15. not caring about anything
I think these are some. But really, what is health?
We all like to have perfect health. But none of us does. It is a fact, like it or not. It takes a great deal of education to learn how to live healthily. I have been educating myself about this. However, there is a great deal of confusion surrounding health. As a starter, what exactly is health? If you know the answer, go for you, because I am still looking for it.
