Who and How Was the First Temple of Jerusalem Destroyed?

The story of the destruction of the first temple in Jerusalem is found in Jeremiah 52:10-20. In this account, prophet Jeremiah tells us that the captain of the guard, Nebuzaradan, who served the king of Babylon arrived to Jerusalem "in the fifth month, on the tenth day of the month" and burned the house of the Lord and destroyed it and took its items with him back to Babylon. This was done when Zedekiah was the king of Israel.

What is going on in the Middle-East?

The Prime Minister of Lebanon suddenly resigned his post and went to Saudi Arabia. He has duel citizenship, a Saudi and a Lebanese ones. Saudi Arabia is demanding "The Party of God" in Lebanon to give up all its weaponry and transform into a political party. Both Israel and Saudi Arabia agree on this point. Iran is the primary supporter of the Lebanese Party of God. Saudi Arabia and Iran are harsh enemies. Bahrain is accusing Iran of terrorizing its territory by setting fires in its oil pipes. Yemen has fired a long-range missile toward Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. It was claimed by the Saudis that the missile fired by Yemen was made in Iran. It is a mess.   

Quick News: Al-Aqsa Mosque

Clashes between Palestinians and Israeli Police on Thursday night resulted in injuring scores of demonstrators with some maintained serious injuries. The Israelis have activated five new security regiments for tomorrow Friday in anticipation of larger demonstrations by the Palestinians. Israel has placed electronic check points around Al-Aqsa Mosque which prompted this last "Intifada".

Quick News: Al-Aqsa Mosque is Blocked

Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, Israel is being blocked by the Israeli Army preventing people to go and worship there. Worshipers are demanding the removal of metal detector units from the Mosque, allowing people to freely enter the holy place without being subjected to security measures. These measures were placed there in response to an attack occurred inside the Mosque last week by certain individuals.

Moses' Serpent

When the people of Israel began to speak against God and Moses when they came out of Egypt, the Lord sent them venomous serpents. The people asked Moses to do something about it. The Lord instructed Moses to place a copper serpent on a signal pole. If any person got bitten by a serpent all he/she needed to do was to look at the copper serpent to heal. Because of its healing power, the people began to offer incense to it, disobeying the Lord God for not worshiping idols. This serpent on a pole was called Nehushtan.

So, where is this serpent now? Don't bother looking for it. It was destroyed by king Hezekiah of Judah. The king destroyed it into pieces so that the people would not worship it.

The Sin of Jeroboam

Many kings of Israel that inherited the kingdom following king Solomon committed a sin. This sin caused the good Lord to punish the nation of Israel. It was the "Sin of Jeroboam". King Jeroboam was one of king Solomon's servants. He actually was put in charge of the male laborers of the "house of Joseph". Ten tribes of Israel chose Jeroboam as a king over their nation following Solomon's death. The two other tribes, Judah and Benjamin, chose Solomon's son Rehoboam as king. Thus, a division was created that split the nation of Israel into two. One was named Israel and the other was named Judah.

Now king Jeroboam fearing that his ten tribes would follow Judah, he created for Israel places for them to worship instead of Jerusalem. (Because Jerusalem was ruled by Rehoboam.) King Jeroboam made two calves made of gold and placed one in Bethel and the other in Dan. He even made a feast on "fifteen of the eight month" for his people to worship in "high places" that he also created. He appointed his own priests that were not the sons of Levi (a commandment that the Lord made for all priests to be from the tribe of Levi.) He himself went up to the high places, to Bethel and Dan and sacrificed calves to these idols.

Many kings that inherited the kingdom after Jeroboam followed his tradition of worshiping the same idols. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob was furious with all of them and He punished the "chosen people" for it.

Friend, are you still practicing the Sin of Jeroboam? What are your idols that you have created to worship? Do you find yourself doing things in your life other than following the Lord's commandments. Many of those kings who committed the Sin of Jeroboam were actually "good people". They tried to obey the Lord, except for this one, the Sin of Jeroboam. Our God is a jealous God. He loves you and wants you to be with Him. He even has prepared for you a dwelling in heaven. Is your idol a computer, TV, a nightclub, a mistress, a bad habit, or an evil spirit, etc.? Get rid of it right now. Jesus Christ has paid the price for the Sin of Jeroboam on the cross. You are free. You just have to believe and confess it.

Israel

The old Israel used to be a nation of the Jews. The new Israel is the Church that belongs to Christ. The old Israel was a symbol for the new Israel. The entire Old Testament was for Christ, as everything was made for Christ and because of Christ. The entire Universe was created because and for Him. The claim that current political entity Israel uses is just that, a claim. It is a false claim. The current political Israel is using a false claim to subjugate the Palestinian People. The current political Israel is not a democracy. It cannot be a democracy if it is based on the superiority of Jews over everyone else who lives there. It is racism against the Arabs and the Palestinians. They do not allow the Palestinians to live there in peace claiming that the land was given to them by God. But, that was only a symbol for the new holy land which is the Kingdom of Heaven that Christ preached to be available to all people. The old is gone. We have a new testament under Christ. Secretary Kerry was 100% right and correct by stating that the Jewish settlements in the West Bank are illegal. The United Nations was 100% correct in condemning the State of Israel (which has no relationship whatsoever to the Biblical Israel. The Biblical Israel is already represented by the Christian Church and the holy land is the Kingdom of Heaven.) Good for the Obama administration by stating the truth. Good for Secretary Kerry for his courage to tell the truth. He said it the way it was and still is. May the good Lord bless you for supporting the oppressed Palestinians who are being subjugated by the so-called "democratic Israeli State." It is neither.

Moses Holds the Secret

Moses, the great ruler of Israel, died at the age of 120 years. In the Book of Deuteronomy (31:14), the Lord declared Moses' death.

[Then the Lord said to Modes, "Behold the day of your death is near; call Joshua, and stand at the doors of the tabernacle of testimony, and I shall give him My commandments." So Moses and Joshua went to the tabernacle of testimony and stood at the doors of the tabernacle of testimony.]

Moses was blessed. By laying his hands on people he will give them the Spirit of God (Deuteronomy 34:9).


[Now Joshua the son of Nun was full of the Spirit of understanding, for Moses had laid his hands on him; so the sons of Israel heeded him and did as the Lord commanded Moses.]

When Moses passed away he was in good shape despite his old age Deuteronomy 34:5-7.

[So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab by the word of the Lord. Then He buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth Peor; but no one knows his grave to this day. Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished.]

Moses appeared later on with Jesus and Elijah at the Transfiguration mount Luke 9:30-31.

[And behold, two men talked with Him, who were Moses and Elijah, who appeared in glory and spoke of His decease which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.]

As He did take Elijah alive to heaven, the Lord took Moses to heaven after He buried him in "a valley in the land of Moab."

The Lord has a plan for everyone of us. The Lord has a role for us even after our death, and for some this role is magnificent, like the one Moses had.  

Hezbollah and Israel: The Next War in the Middle-East

While the West is dealing with the aftermath of the terrorists attack in Paris, France, the Middle-East is preparing for a major invasion of Northern Israel region by the Lebanese Hezbollah militia. An Israeli attack on a military convoy in Syria resulted in killing several senior Hezbollah leaders and an Iranian General last week. Hezbollah and Iran have been since threatened Israel that their response was coming soon, specifying Northern Israel to be their target. Recently, Russia has agreed to transfer long-range missile system to Iran. The Syrian army is still battling rebel forces for the last four years after the "Arab Spring" has reached Syria in February/March 2011. This places the Syrian army out of the equation for getting involved in this war, although the Syrian government will be wholly supportive to Iran and Hezbollah in their battle against Israel. Whether or not the US involvement in Syria will grow to include "boots on the ground" could change the military decision that Iran and Hezbollah are planing to execute. There are a lot of pieces moving in this "Chess Game", and they are moving extremely fast. 

Israel: The Chosen People by Satan

What Israel is doing in Gaza proves that the so-called chosen people is the wrong label. Israel is fooling the Christian conservatives by telling them they are the same people that the God of the Bible had chosen them as his own. There is nothing further from the truth. The current state of Israel is chosen by Satan. It has nothing in common with the biblical historical Jewish people. The current Israel is slaughtering Palestinians in Gaza after it had sieged them for years in an open-air prison. This massacre has to stop. May God the Lord of the old testament punish those who are killing and slaughtering women and children in Gaza. STOP THE SLAUGHTER IN GAZA.

Why Hannity is so wrong on Gaza's massacre

The Israeli's army is slaughtering the people of Gaza. This has been going on for 4 weeks now. Israel claims that Hamas, the military arm of Gazans, has been hitting Israel with rockets. Israel has placed a siege on Gaza for years preventing its 1.8 million people from moving in or out the district. Gaza is considered by many countries as the largest open-air prison on the planet, ever. To state it simply, the people of Gaza are fed-up. No one should blame them for trying to penetrate the siege imposed on their territory by Israel. Hundreds of Gazans are being slaughtered by Israel daily, many are women and children. Sean Hannity likened the situation there to that if Mexico attacked US by missiles. He asked "would the US stand Idle or react to these attacks?" As usual, Hannity is misinformed and blinded by the Bible. He is a typical Christian extremist. His version of Christianity supports blindly Israel regardless what Israel does. His argument about Mexico does not hold water, because US would never imprison 1.8 million Mexicans in a small space. Israel is committing crimes against humanity. Where is God? Are Israeli people really the chosen people? If so, I am not sure what God has chosen them. With all due respect, he must have made a mistake. Sorry, this one does not make any sense to me to relate the God of love to those monsters.

Israel Attacks an Iranian Missiles Facility

Israel destroyed an Iranian missiles facility on Sudanese soil. Israel claimed that factory was manufacturing missiles for Iran and had to destroy it. Both Sudan and Iran are protesting the attack.

Is War Between Israel and Iran Imminent?

The simple answer to this question is a definite NO. Israel would not commit to a war like this with a strong country like Iran. Iran has the support of Russia and North Korea as well as Iraq and Syria. Israel is a no match to this coalition. The reason Israel is spreading rumors of war is just that rumors. It is a known psychological maneuver to gain the West's favor. The US knows that and that is why the US is not worried at all about this possibility. If you noticed that the US has been putting economical pressure on Iran. Also, it is trying to convince them that nuclear power can be put to a good use such medical and civilian applications. Do not wait for anything to happen between Israel and Iran. Only the gullibles buy this stuff.

You can hear it in Sean Hannity's voice

Sean Hannity is a popular talk radio show host. Recently, you could hear the excitement in his voice when the topic of Israel attacking Iran's nuclear sites comes on the air. He cannot wait. The trouble is he is so blinded with the fact that Israel is undestructible. Wrong! The Iranian Air Force is nothing to sneeze at. In addition once you begin a war with Iran you'd be better prepared to fight for years to come. The Iranians do not fight a "six day war" like the Arab did in 1967. There will be a major destruction in the entire region. Nuclear and chemical weapons will be exchanged during the war, and while Iran does not have a full operative nuclear power, its chemical arsenal is huge. Israel knows very well this fact. They are playing a psychological war on Iran, and the only one who got affected by it is Sean Hannity.

What Will Happen When Israel Attacks Iran?

It is imminent that Israel will attack the nuclear facilities of The Islamic Republic of Iran. Iran will respond back by attacking the nuclear facilities in Israel. This might escalate to a proxy war between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon. Most likely Syria will be dragged to a peripheral war with Israel, with Iranian military units fighting along side the Syrian army. The United States troops may get involved if Russian troops are fighting and helping the army gathered in Syria. This may lead to the Third World War. I think the Obama Administration has been very wise by advising patience and allowing diplomacy time to work. This Spring may be the most deadly Spring ever witnessed in the Middle-East and around the world. Let us pray that the Good Lord will shorten these days to save lives.

Egypt is considering severing its diplomatic relationship with Israel amid an incident occurred at its border with Israel where five Egyptians lost their lives. Even, there are calls to revisit Camp David agreement signed between the two countries back during the Carter Administration.
