Protecting New Born Infants Against Covid-19

Recent reports suggest that pregnant women who receive Covid-19 vaccination while pregnant reduce the risk for their new born infants to contract Covid-19 by half for several months. This protection ceases after 6 months after birth.

Influenza A vs. Covid-19

The mortality from Influenza A infection is slightly lower than that from Covid-19, according to a recent report published in March 31, 2026. Many factors contribute to the mortality including, currently having metastatic cancer, being of old age, having congestive heart failure, or chronic kidney disease. 

Vaccination Rate Declines for Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib)

Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) has been almost vanished due vaccination. Before vaccination, physicians diagnosed some 20,000 cases of Hib annually in the United States alone. After vaccination began, fewer than 50 cases were seen in the U.S. Reports from the CDC sounded the alarm that vaccination rate for Hib has declined (data from last week). Children who contract Hib can develop a severe case of it with severe health consequences.

Good news! The two-year epidemic of Mpox in Congo was declared no more by the Africa CDC on Thursday (April 2, 2026). Over 161,000 people contracted the disease, and among those, over 2,200 deaths were recorded.

A New Rapid Test to Detect UTI

Did Jesus die to save Judas Iscariot?

Who has not heard about Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus, but later repented by giving back the money to the Sanhedrin (yes, the 30 coins of silver that ended up used to purchase a land, blood land)? Judas brought the Roman soldiers to the place where Jesus was with his disciples.  We all know the rest of the story. Did Jesus die to save people like Judas? Did He die on the cross to save Judas? Was Judas saved? Judas repented. He could not go to ask forgiveness from Jesus directly because Jesus had already been taken away by the soldiers. Judas felt so miserable, ashamed, and broken, he hanged himself. In the Gospel of John, specifically John 13:1, the Gospel tells us that Jesus 'loved them to the end.' To love somebody to the end means you forgive them to the end. Jesus died on the cross for Judas and people like Judas. Who among us has not been a 'Judas' once?  I believe that Judas Iscariot is in heaven with Jesus today, and if you are one of the lucky persons who will end up there, prepare yourself to meet Judas Iscariot.
