A Possible Solution for Unemployment: The 1/3-the-Salary Option

The rate of unemployment in the United States is on the increase. It is now over 7%. Experts predict that this rate may reach as high as 15%-20% by mid-2012. People without job, unless they have enough savings to support them through unemployment, will need help to survive from someone. I am certain that the Obama's administration will lend help where needed. I propose that the private sector needs also to act to help overcome this national crisis. For every job available in the private sector, the company should hire three people for it, each at 1/3 the salary. For example, if a research scientist position is open at a pharmaceutical company with a salary of $60K/year, the company should hire three research scientists, each for $20K/year. This allows people to survive (foods and shelter), and makes it easier on the Federal government down the road to solve the situation. In a national crisis such as this, the whole country should come together for the common good. Employees who would be hired under the provision of (1/3-the-salary) would be appreciative and more productive. It is a win-win situation, no question about it.

Myrrh

Myrrh is a resin with antiseptic properties. In Naturopathic Medicine, Myrrh-containing preparations are used as a gargle for throat and mouth applications. Resins, in general, are exudates produced following an injury to plant. The fluid exudate hardens on the surface and form a protective film over the injured area. Resins are insoluble in water, however they are somewhat soluble in alcohol. Thus, preparations containing Myrrh should include some amount of alcohol in them to facilitate dissolution of the resin. Myrrh also possesses an astringent effect and can locally stimulate the natural defense system. Research in this area has shown that local applications of Myrrh can bring in to the affected area white blood cells, the body natural defense soldiers.
